Daily Gratitude Year 13 - Day 263: Today, I am grateful for rest in the rain.
"Butterflies rest when it rains because it damages their wings. It's okay to rest during the storms of life. You will fly again when it is over."
I love this quote for the affirmation it contains. It is okay to rest when other choices might be limited or dangerous. There are other times, the better choice is facing the storm head on. Discernment and wisdom is knowing the difference.
Know the storm. Know the Master of the Storm. Then make your choice. He still provides the way.
"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." -Isaiah 40:31
