The Smell of Clean

 

Daily Gratitude Year 13 - Day 317: Today, I am grateful for the smell of clean. 

I love the smell of a clean house, clean sheets, clean laundry, and clean air. Each is a unique blessing on its own. To sum it up in one sentence, I love the smell of clean. 

It was such a delight to have my youngest come through the door and say, "I love the smell of mopped." In our house, it is usually Pine Sol, but I use Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products, too. 

Savor the things that smell clean to you. Reframe the chore from the perspective of having a purpose and a goal. Bring on the clean! 

"Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow." -Psalm 51:7
