Daily Gratitude Year 10-Day 211: Today, I am grateful for those who walk with us in the mundane moments.
Back and forth. Back and forth. Daisy Mae “mows” every step of the way with Randy. He can’t even say the word “mow” unless he means it. She gets so excited. Yes, excited to mow. Even in the heat of the summer.
We have those who join us for big celebrations and starring roles, but there is something special about those who are faithful in the most ordinary moments of our days. They are the people we can count on.
Some of my favorite recorded conversations of Jesus took place in ordinary moments of life. The woman at the well. The guys fishing for a living. The tax collector people shunned. Ordinary guys and gals, until He walked with them.
The invitation to “Follow me.” or “Drink and never be thirsty, again.” Letting Him be the leader of our ordinary days. Do many only invite him the their weddings and funerals? His desire is to be apart of our “all things”. He longs to be invited into the most ordinary moments of our days.
He, alone, makes even the mundane moments holy.
Today, I am grateful for those who walk with us in the mundane moments.
