Daily Gratitude Year 10-Day 348: Today, I am grateful no one can take your crown.
Humans are constantly trying to set themselves apart or above others. A friend reminded me today that the first thing God commanded humans to do was to care for His creation. Take care of the garden, he told them.
It is hard to imagine the scenario of "walking with God" the way Adam and Eve did. The presence of God was a part of their days. They had back and forth conversations. And then, arrogance led to sin and sin led to expulsion from the Garden.
Some spend their days wandering and lost, but when we find Him, he invites us in and offers us a crown.
"I am coming soon [suddenly or quickly]. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown." -Revelation 3:11
Forgiven and with a seat at the table! How incredible!
This world wants to steal our peace. The enemy is constantly looking for a way to break our hope and our hearts. Do not give in. He is coming soon.
Straighten your crown as you wait.
Today, I am grateful no one can take your crown.
