This is a beautiful quote. One that is new to me:
The same God that placed that star in the precise orbit millennia before it appeared over Bethlehem in celebration of the birth of the Babe has given at least equal attention to each one of us in precise human orbits so that we may, if we will, illuminate in the landscape of our individual lives, so that our light may not only lead others but warm them as well. -Neal A. The God of the universe pays attention to the smallest details. He is never late. He is never early. He is always right on time.
How do we share the wonder of it all with others? How do we proclaim his Lordship? Do we invite others in to share His light?
No prophecy ever came about by the the prophet's interpretation and plan. Our God is the force that lays everything in place at the perfect time. I don't understand it, but I know it is true.
" We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things." -2 Peter 1:19-20
Be the light as you chase after the heart of the one who hung the stars and then came to earth to share our ordinary days.
Today, I am grateful for the star light.
