Daily Gratitude Year 12 - Day 101: Today, I am grateful for help. 

This image was so cute. I am a sucker for racoons. Their curiosity has them often in trouble. We were so blessed to get to rescue a few and raise them until they fend for themselves. Their purr is the sweetest. They snuggle and pet your face. 

I have the sweetest memories of caring for them and watching them grow. 

We had to care for them, but we were always told that the wild in them runs deep. Letting them go during adolescence is good for them and good for us, but you do miss their playful antics. This little pup seems to be enjoying his masked friend. 

"We get by with a little help from our friends."

I love that song. It is so true. We are beyond grateful when we have people stand with us in the gaps of our strength, our experience, our abilities, and our understanding. I am reminded we are better together. 

"When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. - Romans 5:6-8

While we were still sinners! That is great love. The greatest Love of all. When He touches our lives, we are never the same.
