Year 10-Day 236 - Today, I am grateful we are multifaceted.
"We are tender and fierce. We are soft and strong. We are fragile and courageous. Sometimes all in one day." - Kelly Rae Roberts
We behave differently because different situations call for different responses. Sometimes we have to be fierce, and then we can turn around and act with tenderness. A mother who rescues a child from a danger can be strong and courageous, and in the next moment, they hold their child with deep tenderness.
The same father who swings a hammer, manages livestock or works with a blow torch, is gentle when braiding his little girl's hair.
We have so many different components to our personalities. We have Spiritual fruits that we bear. How do we know they are from the Spirit? When His grace is evident in how we act toward others or respond to a situation, we know it is Him in us... not our own natural human response.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness," -Galatians 5:22
We are many different things, and often all in one day.
Today, I am grateful we are multifaceted.
