Photo Credit to the talented and creative Christian Harr! This is his mother-in-law who was excited to visit Christian and Manoa. Even more than seeing them, I think she was excited to see her first field of sunflowers.
Her face is pure joy. It is nearly tangible. How many people drive by those fields of sunflowers and don't give them a second thought. When we choose to engage and embrace the everyday magic and miracles, it changes something inside of us.
Someone once said, "The earth laughs in flowers." This picture is supportive evidence.
Are there other places we can look for joy? There is so much evidence of His love, mercy and blessings.
"When he arrived and saw this evidence of God’s blessing, he was filled with joy, and he encouraged the believers to stay true to the Lord. "-Acts 11:23
What little thing do you take for granted that might make others beam with excitement and joy?
Today, I am grateful for the joy found in a field of sunflowers.
