This is one of my favorite passages in the New Testament:
"Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other." -Romans 12:4-5
It is a clear reminder that we all have a working place and part in the Kingdom of God. We all have talents and jobs to do. Each one is as important as the next. All of them working together is what makes His grace shine through.
We are all different. Life would be so dull if we were all the same. Yet, in our differences there is something better that occurs. Yes, we are better together.
In belonging to each other, we have the responsibility to care for each other's needs. We step at a tie. One day at a time.
Today, I am grateful for many parts.
