I love a good YouTube video that provides sound instruction. Seriously, we can learn to do almost anything with internet access and the right tools.
There is great satisfaction in being able to follow good directions with the desired outcome.
This verse provides simple but sound instruction for living life well.
"and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you," 1 Thessalonians 4:11
Live without drama. Avoid it whenever possible. A quiet life is something to strive for. "Mind your own affairs" can mean being intentional in avoiding gossip and intentional with your own business to be sure it reflects Christ.
Working with our hands provides a sense of contentment. From working the ground for a garden to doing laundry or preparing a meal for loved ones, working with our hands provides a unique contentment.
Sound instruction is a blessing.
Today, I am grateful for sound instruction.
