God is Leading

Daily Gratitude Year 13 - Day 322: Today, I am grateful God is leading.

I have a soft spot for Moses. His story was so unusual that only God could have orchestrated it. He was protected as he floated in a basket into the arms of the Pharaoh's daughter where he was loved and raised like a prince. He was able to keep contact with his birth family as his own mother nursed him for the princess.

He was educated, and destined for a life of privilege. He had no idea what God was preparing him for during his time in the palace. He was not perfect which only makes me love him more. He trusted God's leading, although his impatience and hot-headedness caused him some trouble.

Moses knew to trust God's leading. Do I?

"Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands." -Deuteronomy 8:2

There are so many days that things seem confusing or unclear, but we are not alone. Never. He is our good, good shepherd. His Holy Spirit is with us, until the end of these days.

Today, I am grateful God is leading.
