Daily Gratitude Year Eleven-Day 358- Today, I am grateful for promises kept.
As little children it is hard to wait for Christmas. The excitement builds as the day grows near. Everywhere there are signs. Everything seems to point to "the day." There is a wonder in it all. And, it is never more precious than through the eyes of a child.
We watched For King and Country's Christmas Special tonight and it was beautiful. It was part music and part drama... and 100% beautiful.
A baby did come, not as they expected... so many missed Him. The retelling never gets old. I always find something new.
"And the government shall be upon his shoulder" is quite a weight to carry. He did it anyway.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. -Isaiah 9:6
God is with us!
