In this era of so many modern conveniences, it is easy to lose time. We try to do more and chronically fill the empty spaces. In the empty spaces is where God often uses us best.
This is a "preaching to the choir" moment and something I have certainly not perfected. Creating spaces and margins for the important relationships can quickly get consumed by the work of the day that needs to be done.
"Teach us to use wisely all the time we have." -Psalm 90:12-(CEV)
How will we use this day? It is the only one we get. We are only given one at a time.
Pause, pray, ponder His Word, listen, and make the most of this 24 hours.
Today, I am grateful for reminders to use our time wisely.
