Daily Gratitude Year 12 - Day 298 - Today, I am grateful we can share each other's burdens.
"Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ." -Galatians 6:2
It is an instruction that adds richness to our lives. Sorrows are divided and joys are doubled when we share them with a friend.
It is easy to forget that we are better together.
I have several friends battling cancer right now. For one, her workplace put together bracelets that say, "No one fights alone." I wear it and pray for her and the others in the midst of the battle. What a message!
Two have been through surgeries recently. Those are hard. One has been fighting a long time with the most beautiful God chasing attitude.
"No one fights alone" implies, "I want to help. Let me share your burden."
Cancer can feel very lonely. The most difficult chapters in life are better with the help of our friends, family, and friends who are like family.
Today, I am grateful we can share each other's burdens.
