"The only thing harder than waiting on God, is wishing you had."
That can be a hard lived truth. Human nature often wants to rush in when God is still working out the timing and the details. Pushing forward... outside of His perfect will... means we cheat ourselves out of His best for our lives.
We want what we want. Waiting is hard.
"Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." -Psalm 27:14
His ways are better. They are not always easier, but they are always better.
Today, I am grateful for the reminder to wait on God.
