Acts is continuing to delight me this week. In Acts, there stories of suffering and persecution, but there are stories of miracles and wonder, too. Those who discovered Jesus were determined to live with a purpose.
"for 'In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “‘For we are indeed his offspring.’" -Act 17:28 ESV
Can you imagine just missing the Messiah? He was within walking distance for many, but they never saw him. Some saw him and did not recognize Him as the Son of the Living God. Some never physically saw Jesus, but came to know Him as Lord through the Holy Spirit.
Those who believe without seeing are counted as special and blessed.
Today, I am grateful for belonging and purpose.
