It is my favorite day of the school year! Although I am now in a different position, this day holds my heart.
One of the things that stood out to me was the students who have often been on the receiving end of services embracing the opportunity to be the hands that serve. They love it! And, they see with new eyes the work that goes into providing for the needy. It is beautiful.
You will see these hot pink shirts (my favorite one yet) all over town. Give them a shout out today or a honk if you see them between about 8:30 am and 10:30 am.
I am grateful for the hands that organize it and the hearts that dreamed it up. Today is a great day to be a Jr. Potter.
