Molded for a Purpose

Daily Gratitude Year 13 - Day 292: Today, I am grateful we are molded for a purpose by His hands.

I discovered a new artist. Jenna Larco has a collection of images with what I would call "supporting scriptures." I did some Bible Journaling this week with some special ladies. I worked on Isaiah 64:8:

"And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand."

There are several others on this image. I love being reminded that my design is not accidental, but straight from the Master Potter's hand. He can work with the most difficult clay successfully.

My dear friend and artist, Brittany Du Pont once told me that clay does not really "go bad." Still, fresh clay is easier for students to work with when they are learning the art of pottery.

Do we find ourselves still willing to be molded? Do we require extra attention from the Master Potter because we fight Him every step of the way. There really is joy in letting go and letting Him shape our lives and our days. We were created for a purpose.

Today, I am grateful we are molded for a purpose by His hands.
