"Your imagination is infinite. Creativity is the magic that brings it to life."
It is a day full of imagination as children (and some adults) bring dreams to life. Chase was a ninja nearly every year. Walker had a little more variety. It all brings back memories. Coming up with the costumes was always part of the fun.
For 20 years at St. Jude and a decade at the Junior High, I wore a costume, too. Creativity would come to life. Laughter, smiles, and pure fun.
How many times do we forget that anything is possible with creativity, tenacity, and hard work. I guess the important thing is to know what you are working toward and what matters in the end. From costumes... to classrooms... to career centers... to corn fields to corporate offices... dreams can come to fruition. You may not be a ninja, but you can be a black belt. You may not be a sea creature, but you can study them or become an archeologist.
We may not be born royal, but we can be welcomed as joint heirs with Jesus into Heaven. Does it get any better?

Keep on dreaming, dressing up, and dedicating days to creativity. Don't forget to pack some glitter.
Today, I am grateful for imagination.
