Daily Gratitude Year 13 - Day 278: Today, I am grateful for the way.
This image was so pretty. I love the sunrise. This scripture is a short prayer we can memorize and make a daily offering to our Lord.
Do we meet and greet Him in the morning with the same thankfulness that we greet that first cup of coffee (or your favorite beverage)? Do we look at him through a similar lens of desire and need? Do we greet him before we put that first foot on the floor? We can.
As we wake up each morning, we have a purpose. We may or may not always see and feel it, but we can simply say, "Show me the way I should go. I trust you with my life."
"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life." Psalm 143:8 (NIV)
Not every decision is easy as we walk through the day, but the Holy Spirit is real and walks with us. His Word is on our tables and on our phones. We need not go blind and alone. He is with us. He promised. We can trust him with our lives, as He gave up His for us.
There really is no greater love. He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. Crave Him like coffee.
