Daily Gratitude Year 13 - Day 293: Today, I am grateful for time together in the Word.
I do not think we ever outgrow pictures. Bible journaling has become popular in the past decade. More than adding notes and thoughts in our Bibles, images are added, too. Yes, even sparkle.
Adding the creative aspects... heart art... helps us "write his Word on our hearts." My favorite part is what it leaves to future generations who seek to know our faith journeys.
We are fortunate in this season to have extra tools available, like Biblegateway.com and blueletterbible.org. We can easily search the exact scriptures we want to find and others that may relate.
Time in The Word with family is even better than it is alone. I could not help but smile at all of the song lyrics that make their way onto our pages. From hymns to the latest worship songs and the top 20 from Christian radio stations.
This image is more of a bible student image, but I loved that there are five women. I love a houseful! We had five women this weekend thrifting (it is better with friends), laughing, sharing, learning, and delighting in the goodness of God. One came all the way from Winterhaven, Florida. Another had just returned from a trip to Belgium (my Aunt)... overcoming jet-lag to be present. My Sisters, cousins, and sisters-in Christ. My heart is still full.
Today, I am grateful for time together in the Word.
