That Simon and Garfunkel classic song is now playing in my head. I love the song. I don't love the shorter days, but they are part of autumn and winter.
This scripture holds a simple since truth.
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." -John 1:5
Light always disperses darkness. Light cannot help but shine. A tiny little match lit and suddenly, we can see. It only takes a glimmer of light.
Darkness cannot overcome light.
Today, I am grateful for every minute of sunlight.
