Daily Gratitude Year Eleven- Day 79: Today, I am grateful for the mixed magic of Spring.
"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold when it is summer in the light and winter in the shade." -Charles Dickens, Great Expectations
Well, Charles Dickens nailed it. It is, indeed, that season. The sunshine warms the car until it is hot and the breeze can be frigid. Working in schools means it is time for Track, Tennis, Baseball and Soccer. You go from freezing to melting in not too many weeks.
Honestly, I love the changing seasons. I am not sure I could adjust to it being warm all of the time (unless it was on an island in the Caribbean). There is a sense of renewal as one season is spent and a new one blooms.
Spring is the season that buds and blooms like no other.
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!-2 Corinthians 5:17
New beginnings are the best.
Today, I am grateful for the mixed magic of Spring.
