Yes, Miss Clara has been on my mind this past month quite often. My prayer list continues to get longer. This song is new to me. I really like it. It reminds me to wield my best weapon against the enemy's attacks. Prayer.

Our God is not dead. He isn't sleeping. Sometimes, we are the ones who need to be reminded of the comfort, power and protection that is available to us.
We are approaching "Holy Week". I am reminded of the multiple times Jesus took time out to pray. He would remove himself from the distractions of daily life and connect with The Father. If Jesus needed to do that, is it any wonder that our souls desperately need time with Him.
"Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.” -Matthew 22:37-40 (The Message)
Only He can fill the emptiness. Only He can break through the darkness and send it packing. He is The One ready to fight our battles with us and for us.
Today, I am grateful we can fight on our knees.
