This is just what I needed today. The reminder that things are not always as they seem.
Those who seem trustworthy, may not be. Evil weasels its way in gently and easily, hoping no one notices. Goodness can be found in unexpected places. Those who seem weak, may be stronger than we ever imagined.
"Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." -1 Peter 5:8
But the Lamb already has us covered. He chose to wear our human skin so He could cover our sin debt. The perfect Lamb chose to walk the way of suffering so we could be spared. It really is quite incredible. His sacrifice. His protection. His victory.
Today, I am grateful for lions inside of lambs.
