Daily Gratitude-Year Eleven: Day 118- Today I am grateful for a wedding.
There is something extraordinarily sweet about another chance at love after a loss. The joining if two lives in marriage is a special occasion. It is a precious and sacred moment. God designed the partnership. He blessed the union.
Today, my sister in love, Lola, pointed out that we are gaining a new brother as Robert and Jan become Mr. and Mrs. Toney. Our hearts are full. They treat each other with tenderness and make each other feel treasured.
“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” -Ephesians 4:2
Together, they are better. They will “wash each other’s feet” and serve those around them. It brings them a joy unlike any the world can provide.
Today, I am grateful for a wedding.
