Tulips

Daily Gratitude Year Eleven- Day 100: Today, I am grateful for tulips.

They are so beautiful. Once the first brave flowers of spring are spent, the tulips show up in their full glory. They announce that winter has been defeated and all things will become new again.
They are planted in the fall and endure the winter's cold, but they use the time to rest and restore. They don't whine or complain. They simply wait their turn to bloom.

Nature is full of life lessons. It is God designed by our creator and cannot help but reflect His glory.

I can learn much from watching the tulips.

"Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end." -Ecclesiastes 3:11

Today, I am grateful for tulips.
