Inconvenience

Gratitude Year 12- Day 236: Today, I am grateful for a new perspective on "inconvenience."

Today we take another look at inconvenience.

"An inconvenience is only an adventure wrongly considered." G.K. Chesterton

I love any quote that invites a new perspective on an old problem. No one likes to be inconvenienced, right? In truth, what looks like an inconvenience may be the hand of God intervening.

He is patient and wise. He knows our every need. He attends to the tiniest details. God seeded the oceans with life and the forests with game. He knows our every need.

God placed the vine that shaded Jonah from the heat of the day while he pouted about wanting to save Nineveh.

" Now the Lord God appointed a plant and made it come up over Jonah, that it might be a shade over his head, to save him from his discomfort."  Jonah 4:6

Nothing we do for him or because of him is an inconvenience. It is part of the adventure.

Today, I am grateful for a new perspective on "inconvenience."
