It is true. There are some things we can only imagine until we experience them. A first kiss... the birth of a child... snow... white, soft, sand. The first breath of heaven.
The song, "I Can Only Imagine," is one many know. There was a movie made about it. It talks about Heaven, and comes to the conclusion that we cannot know, we really have no clue.
We get glimpses of Heaven in different scriptures, but there is no map or snapshots.
The overwhelming feeling of being in the presence of God is something my head cannot truly grasp.
"That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”- 1 Corinthians 2:9
The overwhelming love of God is not something we can put into words, but we know it is true.
Today, I am grateful "we can only imagine."
