Bridge builders are always celebrated. The engineering and the risks taken to build them are real. Even with today's technology, accidents happen. Bridges can lead to new relationships. Tearing them down has long been a play in war.
Some walls are necessary for safety; some relationships require bridges to grow. Wisdom and humility are key ingredients.
Proverbs wisdom never disappoints, but this verse is in Job.
"Fear of the Lord teaches wisdom; humility precedes honor." -Job 15:33
Bridges can be rustic or modern marvels, but they serve the same purpose. We need them to get to the other side.
