It is Friday! That is the first thing to be grateful for this week. It went by fast.
I have been anticipating today all week long. We will reach 65-68 degrees today if the predictions come to pass. I cannot wait. The sun is already shining.
The image is of the brave little crocus that is the first to break through the cold winter ground. I love them for their courage. I have not seen one yet, but they will come.
It is day 10 of Lent:
"Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too." - Philippians 2:3-4
As we feel the sun on our faces, turn the joy outward. I recommend raising your face to the sun with your eyes closed and taking a full slow spin. Feel the joy!
What can we do to be an encouragement today? Joy was never meant to be contained.
Today, I am grateful for a warm day ahead.
