Our scars tell our story.
Accidents, surgery, and even scratching a bite too hard can leave scars. No life is completely without injury. Injury is often accompanied by scars.
"My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise." -Psalm 51:17
A good reminder that broken does not mean useless or without value.
Today, I am grateful for scars.
