It seems that the hard seasons bring the fires that refines us.

She wrote a classic book on death and dying. So many have read it over the years. There is always something to learn when we observe those who have walked through the fires of life and keep going. They are beautiful souls.
Hard things happen to good people. Although, none of us is truly good. Our human nature is self seeking. Through the refining fires of trials and by the grace, forgiveness and mercy offered at the foot of the cross, we find new joy and new hope. In Him, we can learn to love the light.
"All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.” -John 3: 20-21
Beautiful people do not just happen.
Today, I am grateful for beautiful souls.
