Mercy is a beautiful thing.
"But—When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit." Titus 3:4-5
It is that fountain that flows deep and wide. We didn't earn it, yet He pours it out generously. It is His kindness and love that covers us, not anything we can do or accomplish.
Do we live differently in light of His mercy? Do we choose kindness and love more easily in light of his grace? Every day offers new opportunities.
Today, I am grateful for His mercy.
