The Spoken Hope

Daily Gratitude- Year 14 - Day 19: Today, I am grateful for the spoken hope.

"But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me." -Micah 7:7 (NIV)

Can you hear the confidence and expectation? Not knowing the time, but confident of the outcome. Help is on the way.

There is something powerful in speaking our faith out load. Not just thoughts, but speaking what we believe. He delights in the confidence and praise of those who call him Savior, Lord, and King.

"Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." -Hebrews 11:1 (NLT)

The Book of Hebrews defines its intended audience in the name, but those who are grafted in by the blood of Jesus can learn from it, too. He does not abandon His children. The timing may be unexpected. The answer can be "no" or "not yet."

One thing is sure, He hears our prayers and delights in our seeking His face with humble hearts. His hand is mighty to protect, save, restore, and comfort. How can we be silent?

Today, I am grateful for the spoken hope.
