When winter takes a toll on our skin. I am grateful for my favorite lotions. I like them to feel and smell clean. I do not want to feel greasy.
The one pictured has become a forever favorite. I go back to it again and again. It smells as clean as it feels, and it helps fund animal rescue and recovery.
Perhaps that is exactly what a good lotion does. It rescues our skin from the elements. There is nothing like being rescued to make us pause and think. When we are helpless, we need a savior for our skin and for our souls.
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." -Psalm 91:14-15
Today, I am grateful for lotions.
