Daily Gratitude Year Eleven-Day 328- Today, I am grateful for the delivery people.
Our delivery people have been running since Amazon introduced "Prime" memberships. I do not believe they have stopped. The Covid years only increased their workload. Be kind to them.
Dry goods, essentials, take out and groceries come by designated delivery services, USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The number of services being delivered continues to grow.
Would we have even believed the landscape of how we shop for goods today if someone had told us to imagine it 20 years ago?
I could not help but think of the Queen of Sheba who made her way by caravan to visit King Solomon, who was known for his Godly wisdom and great fortune. Imagine the camels arriving loaded with expensive gifts and the Queen, too.
"When the queen of Sheba heard of Solomon’s fame, she came to Jerusalem to test him with hard questions. She arrived with a large group of attendants and a great caravan of camels loaded with spices, large quantities of gold, and precious jewels. " -2 Chronicles 9:1
Things are so different now, but it is still special when good things get delivered.
Today, I am grateful for the delivery people.
