Daily Gratitude Year 12 - Day 37: Today, I am grateful for purposeful pursuits.
We were designed for a purpose. We were programmed for relationships. They are not always easy, but they are good. We are better together.
Think about the relationships that shaped our early years. Even if they are gone, pieces of them remain with us. They may be our parents, grandparents, siblings, teachers, church family, or neighbors. We think of them and smile.
In every chapter of our story, there are people who lead by example. The ones who pursue righteousness and model unfailing love are never forgotten. They offer wisdom to newlyweds and encouragement to young parents. They love our toddlers and our teenagers without hesitation or reservation. They keep an eye on our aging parents and the widow next door.
To live with purpose changes our days.
"Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor." -Proverbs 21:21
Delight in the ordinary that becomes extraordinary.
Today, I am grateful for purposeful pursuits.
