We all have things that make our souls happy. Some chase little white balls around a golf course with great strategy, while others learn to tie flies for fishing. Some bake and decorate cakes that look like art. Some paint and paper craft while others knit, quilt, cooking, write music, sing songs, organize closets, and make places sparkle with their cleaning or decorating skill.
We are ALL creative beings. We were designed that way. Some of us take longer to uncover our creative gifts or recognize them, but they are there. I adore these verses:
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth - When God created human beings, he made them to be like himself." -Genesis 1:1, 5:1
Make time to feed that part of your soul. It will add balance and benefit other parts of your life.
Today, I am grateful for time to do things that make our souls happy.
