Remember what it is?
“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets." -Matthew 7:12 (NLT)
Kindness expressed is often reciprocated, but even if it isn't... it is still worth the effort.
We often do not know the trials of the person across the table or in the office next door. Everyone fights battles, but some remain unspoken. Kindness can be a balm to a wounded soul weary from the battles of daily life.
Practicing "The Golden Rule" can be a relationship healer and can give new relationships fertile soil to set deep roots.
Today, I am grateful for "The Golden Rule."
