This journey here is temporary. Like the 9 months we spend in the womb, with no idea of the wonders of the outside world, we have no knowledge of heaven. We can read about it, but we have no idea what lies ahead.
"Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of this world.” -John 18:36
There is so much promise in Jesus's words. There is wonder and hope.
Today, I am grateful death is just the beginning.
