Daily Gratitude Year 10-Day 277: Today, I am grateful for spell check.
We all need a little help sometimes. Spell checking built into writing tools can be very helpful. It isn't perfect, but it really helps.
The downside is we get a little lazy about spelling correctly when someone is going to fix it for us.
" Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it." -Habakkuk 2:2
Write it down and make it plain so it can be read. Let the "herald" run with it. We are the messengers of the Good News. We have the opportunity to carry hope and light. Do we become careless with His Word? I hope not. It is more precious than silver or gold. "
"A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver." -Proverbs 25:11
A misspelling can change a word and the meaning. We want to get it right.
Do I become careless with my typing because in a click it can be fixed? Yes, at times.
His blood covers our sins, fixing our standing before God. The Blood of the Lamb has restoration power. His grace is sufficient. I don't want to abuse the gift.
Today, I am grateful for spell check.
