Daily Gratitude Year Eleven- Day 110: Today, I am grateful for a sharp pencil.
A pencil is a perfect tool for anyone who is imperfect. The opportunity to erase our mistakes is pretty amazing. We all make mistakes.
A mechanical pencil can be a great tool, but there are times an old fashioned pencil does the trick best.
Today was Mama's birthday and I think of the many times she overlooked, covered and erased our mistakes. She was more like Jesus than anyone I have ever known on earth. I tried to write more, but the words wouldn't come. So, I erased them.
When feeling creative, a sharp pencil does the trick. When the moment wanes or goes wrong... the eraser is my friend.
Today, I am grateful a sharp pencil.
