When I was praying over today's gratitude, this passage popped up and seemed to be the right one. Our lives have chapters, but the work Jesus did on the cross means we get the happy ending. Hard times are chapters. New life is ahead.
But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. -1 Corinthians 15:20-22
How many times do we find ourselves at the end of something? Life is full of beginnings and endings... but many times, it is just a new chapter.
Perhaps we liked the previous chapter better. There will always be seasons in life. Some have storms and rough waters. Others are pretty amazing. Most often, the chapters in our lives are a mixed bag. Press on. Press in to His promises.

Today, I am grateful some seasons are just a chapter.
