I am going to do another post for the daughter of my heart - Miss Emma... but today is sisters and nieces.
In these pictures are sisters and nieces on both sides of the family. It is not all of them, but these images capture several of the crew. I love these girls. They make me laugh and I've cried with them, too. Not "in-law" but "in-love."
Monte's sweet Jan is getting married this weekend. We are so happy for her and Robert. Today is Monte's 2nd birthday in heaven. I know he is smiling to know that God sent Jan a good and Godly man to laugh with and love in this next chapter.
I am equally grateful that God gave Matthew a wife that would throw out the "in-law" and embrace full sisterhood.
And nieces.. the are like icing on the cake. All the fun, and none of the responsibility of being a parent. Every season of life is better when shared.
