I remember when the kids were little and their toys needed "some assembly required." Good instructions are priceless.
Now, we have YouTube videos for many things that need some assembly or clear directions. It is good to be able to read the directions, and then to see the steps taken one by one.
I am reminded that both are valuable. The written and a good example. I love this passage:
I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.” -Psalm 40:8
I am grateful for the instructions in God's Word... and the example of Jesus.
Today, I am grateful for good instructions.
