There is an old saying,"Seeing is believing." We so often trust what we see, but there are very real things our eyes do not perceive.
"Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." God has a special place in his heart for those who believe without seeing: "Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”-Jon 20:29
Blessed are those who step boldly out in faith, without a safety net, to capture the essence of what it means to walk by faith and not by sight.
"for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him." -Colossians 1:16 NLT
He created all things, seen and unseen. Angels, love, the Holy Spirit, courage, devotion, to name a few.The unseen things may stump us, astound us or delight us. They are all the work of His hands.
Today, I am grateful for things unseen.
