Daily Gratitude Year 5-Day 281: Today, I am grateful for the chance to love again. The sun came up for me this beautiful fall day. It arrived with the opportunity to love again. What a glorious gift is this new day.

Be grateful for the gift of each sunrise. It is the chance to love again. Never let the sun go down on an angry word. Never neglect a chance to say "I love you." or "I'm sorry." Both are healing phrases when we mean them.
There is so much ugly hate in this world. Surely, it breaks our Father's heart. We were created for relationship with him and then each other. "Love me. Love your neighbors... all of them."
His love is full and fills us. It helps us love beyond human limitations. I need to remember to claim that when I am pressed to my limit. I need to remember it when I press others to their limits of patience and understanding. Yes... none of us is perfect, but He longs for us to tap into his abundant grace and mercy in the same way he gives it freely to us.
"and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us." -Matthew 6:12
When the disciples asked, "Lord, how shall we pray? Teach us." That was his answer. Forgive the way you have been forgiven. Isn't that an act of love?
