Daily Gratitude Year 7 - Day 96: Today, I am grateful He chose the nails.This time of year, our hearts turn to Easter. This is an old quote from "He Chose The Nails".

Jesus gave up heaven's comforts to take on the human condition. We are frail. We grow weary. Still, he chose the nails. He chose us!
After all of these year, I still find myself humbled and in awe. He gave up everything and then gave his all. He modeled genuine love so we could model our lives after His.
" We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters."-1 John 3:16
We know real love because of his sacrifice. We know hope and the promise of a future. Eternity is held in his nail scared hands.
Today, I am grateful He chose the nails.
