How many times do we celebrate just one?
Often, "just one" makes us feel like there should be more.
If there is one cookie left, do we celebrate? If there is one roll of toilet paper left in the house, what is our response? We long for, wait for and fret about more, right?
We forget to celebrate the one. God has a different perspective.
"In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.” -Luke 15:10
Yes, one is reason to celebrate. One is enough to break out in song. One is enough to spark joy.
Today, I am grateful for just one.
